Multi-Camera Panoramic Perception & Distance Estimation (M.S. Thesis)

GPU-accelerated panoramic stitching pipeline for three fisheye cameras (~15–18 FPS). Trained an RT-DETR model on a self-built maritime dataset (mAP@0.5 = 0.978) with monocular ranging fused from bounding-box geometry and horizon cues. Deployed via ROS + Docker and field-validated on a real USV, reaching 87.5% obstacle-avoidance success over 8 trials.

Smart-Factory AMR Obstacle Avoidance (Undergraduate Capstone)

Integrated Velodyne LiDAR, IMU, ZED2 depth camera, and Jetson Xavier NX under ROS for SLAM, localization, and navigation-based obstacle avoidance, with a 5G link for real-time point-cloud/video streaming. Selected for 5G innovation competitions by the Industrial Development Administration and Chunghwa Telecom.
